What a reveal that was. Treyarch have revolutionized Call of Duty as we know it, and we can’t wait to play it. We’re going to be doing proper, in-depth coverage tomorrow, when the server load dies down. But for now, here’s a brief round-up of the madness that went down in Los Angeles.
Highlights
•CoD Points – currency system for ‘buying unlocks’, abbreviated to CP
•‘Wager Match’ – new game mode featuring 4 different gametypes on which you gamble credits (see video)
•‘Combat Training’ – prepare for online multiplayer by playing against bots, with or without friends. You have a different rank to your online rank.
•Contracts – similar to challenges, take them on to receive XP and CP
•Care package – contents can include a mini-gun, SAM turret, and more
•Weapon customization, and then some – customize everything about your gun, including sights and camos. Etch your own clantag and emblem into the gun.
•Emblem editor – huge range of possibilities
•New video on Inside Xbox tomorrow detailing Theatre Mode

Tier 1 perks (outfit perks): Lightweight. Scavenger. Ghost. (invisible to SR-71 recon plane) Flak Jacket. Hardline.
Tier 2 perks: Hardened. Scout. Steady Aim. Sleight of Hand. Warlord. (equivalent to Bling)
Tier 3 perks: Marathon. Ninja. Second Chance. Hacker. Tactical Mask.
Pro perks will return.
New weapons: Uzi, M1 Garand, M14, ASP pistol, Ithaca, Skorpion... and more!
